Privacy
Your footage, your data, your call.
This page explains in plain English what we collect, why, how long we keep it, and how to get it deleted.
Before launch: this policy must be reviewed against the jurisdiction EITRI actually operates in and the systems it actually uses, and the contact address below must be a live inbox. Do not publish commitments the business cannot operationally keep.
What we collect
Two kinds of information, and nothing else:
- Information you type into our forms — your name, work email, channel or business name, the editing level you want, the goal for your video, and any notes you add.
- Project material you upload — the video, audio and image files you send us, together with their filenames and folder structure.
We do not ask for payment card details on this website. We do not buy personal data from third parties.
Why we use it
- To reply to you and answer questions about your project.
- To produce the edit you asked for, including your free sample.
- To deliver the finished video back to you through a secure link.
- To keep basic records of work completed and quotes given.
We do not use your information for advertising profiling, and we do not sell it.
How your footage is stored
Your footage uploads directly from your device into private object storage (Cloudflare R2). The storage bucket is not public and cannot be browsed. Access is granted per project through an unguessable link, so one customer can never reach another customer’s files.
We do not use third-party transfer portals, WeTransfer, or public upload sites for your material. Access to your folder is limited to the people working on your project.
Proxy workflow
When your footage arrives, we generate lightweight proxy files and edit those. Editors do not cut your original camera files. Your originals stay archived and unaltered for the duration of the project. This protects your source quality and removes the risk of accidental changes to your masters.
How long we keep things, and deletion
- After your project is completed and you give final approval (case closed), source files, proxy files, project files and exports are deleted from our systems on a 10-day policy.
- You can request immediate deletion at any time by email, and we will confirm in writing once it is done.
- Download your finished video before the deletion window closes. Unlike a shared cloud folder, the copy lives in our storage rather than yours, so once it is deleted we cannot recover it.
- Basic enquiry records (name, email, what was quoted) may be kept longer where we need them for accounting or legal reasons.
We do not sell your data
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information or your footage to anyone, for any purpose.
No AI training without permission
Your footage is not used to train artificial intelligence models — ours or anyone else's — unless you give us explicit written permission first.
No portfolio or marketing use without permission
We do not put your footage or finished video in our portfolio, on social media, in advertisements, or in any public showcase unless you have given us explicit written permission. Confidentiality is the default on every project.
You own your content
You retain ownership of your source footage and of the finished video. EITRI claims no ownership, no licence and no royalties over your content, subject to the applicable service agreement.
Service providers
We use ordinary infrastructure to run the service — Cloudflare for hosting and object storage, and email for correspondence. Those providers process data under their own terms as our processors. We share only what is necessary to deliver your project, and never for their marketing.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you what information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. You can withdraw permission you previously gave for portfolio or marketing use. Email us and we will act on the request and confirm in writing.
Children
This service is intended for business use by adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and change the date below. Material changes affecting existing projects will be communicated by email.
