Terms
Terms of service.
What you get, what it costs, and what each of us is responsible for.
Before launch: have these terms reviewed by a qualified adviser for EITRI's operating jurisdiction, and insert the registered business details, governing law and dispute process. Do not publish obligations the business cannot meet.
1. What EITRI provides
EITRI provides professional human video-editing services. You supply raw footage; we return an edited video at the level you selected. Editing is performed by human editors with quality-control review.
2. Ordering and confirmation
A project starts when you confirm the final video length, the editing level and the amount of raw footage, and we confirm acceptance. Estimates shown on the pricing page are confirmed once we have seen your footage and understood the scope.
3. Pricing
Price is made up of three things and nothing else:
- Editing level — Cut & Clean, Pro, Pro Max or Cinematic.
- Final video length — as set out in the price table.
- Additional raw footage — $3 per minute beyond the included allowance.
The $3 per minute rate for additional footage is identical across all four editing levels. All prices are in USD.
4. Raw footage allowance
Every final-length band includes a stated allowance of raw footage. If you send less than the allowance, there is no additional charge and no credit. If you send more, the additional minutes are charged at $3 each. We will tell you the additional amount before proceeding.
5. Custom quotes
Final videos over 45 minutes, documentaries, major events and highly complex multi-camera projects are quoted individually.
6. Delivery and turnaround
Turnaround depends on length, level and current capacity, and is confirmed when the project is accepted. Free samples are returned within 24 hours of us confirming access to your footage. Delivery is made through a secure link to your finished export.
7. Revisions
You review the cut and send notes. Revision scope depends on the editing level selected; higher levels carry a wider revision scope. The applicable scope is confirmed with you before the edit begins. Requests that change the agreed brief materially may be quoted as additional work.
8. Your responsibilities
- You confirm you have the right to use and to have us edit everything you send, including music, footage, images and any third-party material.
- You keep your own backup of your original footage. Our copies are deleted on the stated schedule.
- You upload your footage through the project link we provide, and keep that link private.
- You do not send unlawful material.
9. Ownership
You own 100% of your source footage and of the finished video. EITRI claims no ownership, no licence and no royalties. You may publish the finished video anywhere, indefinitely.
10. Confidentiality
Your material is confidential. We do not share it with third parties, use it in our portfolio, post it on social media, use it in advertising, or use it for AI training, without your explicit written permission.
11. Deletion
After completion and your final approval, source, proxy, project and export files are deleted from our systems on a 10-day policy. You may request immediate deletion at any time; we confirm in writing. Because your files live in our storage rather than a folder you own, download your finished video before the deletion window closes.
12. Payment
Payment terms are confirmed with your quote before work begins. Free samples carry no charge and no obligation.
13. Cancellation
If you cancel after work has started, we will invoice for work completed up to that point. If we cannot complete a project, we will tell you promptly and refund anything paid for work not delivered.
14. Limitation of liability
We take care with your material, but you are responsible for maintaining your own backups of original footage. To the extent permitted by law, our liability in connection with a project is limited to the amount paid for that project.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your project is the version in effect when the project was accepted.
